smudge was an english bull terrier all white with a black ear and a slight smudge above his eye. he
was a great charecter and a very loyal dog.sadly just before christmas i was told smudge's kidneys
were failing him and even with medication he may have only lived another 6 months. i made the
decision to lay him to rest as i didnt want him to suffer no longer. he was a cheeky dog and always
managed to bring a cheer into anyones life. the little things he done set him apart from other dogs
he was more like a son to me than a four legged friend i will miss him loads and always have a space
for him in my heart he was a great friend at times of sorrow in my life and even though he didnt
manage to see his fourth birthday the years i did have with him were great and il never forget them.

sorry i havent wrote to you for a while,
but it should of been ashleys 21st bday so we tried to celebrate what should of been a happy time.
i hope your ok and you have settled in now,we havent got your ashes back yet but hopefully we will in the next week xxxxx

miss you lil man i cant believe how quiet it is and to think i used to moan at your whining!!! id give anything to hear you whine or bark,and so would daddy he hasnt been the same since you have gone,he fought for you so much and has so many wonderful memories of you its hard for him still to accept your not here,so please look after him smudge xxxxx

uv only been gone a week and it feels like a life time already. it dont get any easier either every day i miss u more and more and ts the lil things i miss i used to hate it wen u would whinge but the place seems to quiet now and ur hairs got every where and i memba checking the hoover to see how many i had actually picked up that time and now i hardly see any i have the lil bag of your hairs i wana hold them and smell u on ur bed but it hurts too much when i try opluck up the courage to do it i always look for you in the kitchen but ur never there and it pains me soooo much to see u gone i jus wana hold u sooo much i miss u lil man and i try to carry on like every fin is normal but its not and ur not there this is so hard ne way dinners done now so gota go mate love ya xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

its 4 days since you went to sleep with the angels in doggy heaven and we're into a new year,
its hard to think that you aint here to celebrate with us.daddy misses you like crazy he hasnt been the same since you went,
you was a big part of his life and no one will ever replace you or that big gap.
please look over him and if you can show him a sign,and please keep an eye on demi she hasnt been the same either and im worried about her.
and if you see butch up there tell him i love him too.

so you, are you with every one ok, are you torturing grizz now, didnt know what to say to ya yesterday,it was a horrible thing to see, you were so full of life one second then gone the next, it all happened so fast boy, and i know you werent in pain, not like ya dad anyway.
well sonny looks a bit sad today, i wonder if he knows, you will have to wait a little while to se him again, be good up the in the sky, how was the rocket trip.
